This was painted three years ago (2005), in Stowe, Vermont. It was painted outside of Stowe, Vermont, towards Waterbury, on Gregg Hill Road. The scene was painted at dawn . It is a cloudy day with a few clouds catching rim lighting of the morning sun (silver lining). Great care and attention was giving to developing the trees, the foliage, and the detail of the grasses of the field.
