This was painted two years ago (2006), in Stowe, Vermont. It is at a place called "Jacuzzi Falls" where a creek turns to rapids as they water flows around a sharp curve and meet some large rocks, and then there is a waterfall. I've painted from the same vantage point on several occasions over the year but feel this is my best realization of it thus far.
