This was painted just this past Monday, the 3rd of November. It was painted alla prima, premier coup, meaning, done all at once, in one sitting. It has a spontaneous quality, but I was striving for accuracy in color and drawing. The floral arrangement consists of purple lisianthus flowers, yellow pincushion flowers, and red eucalyptus.
