This was painted this past summer (2008). It is a street scene in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY (where the New York marathon just passed through). It is a study of late afternoon light. The scene is just two blocks from my house. Within the painting is a section of the Williamsburg Bridge and a perhaps the last artists' loft in Williamsburg (to the right).
