This was painted circa 2005 or 2006 in Stowe, Vermont. It is a painting done at Trapp Lodge at early morning sunrise, crack of dawn, as the sun is just rising and the mist and moisture and dew drops of morning are still in the ground creating a misty, hazy atmosphere with the sunlight coming from the right. The painting was recently retouched to further enhance the light effect and color.
