This was painted in 2005 in Stowe, Vermont. It was done in the early one bright sunny morning. It was painted on a road called Robinsons Springs Road. The center of focus of the painting is the house and tree to the right. The sunlight is to the left of the painting, expressed by the lighter values and the cast shadow of the tree and house. In the background can be seen Mt. Mansfield and "the Nose".
