This was painted on the day of the Artists on Location event (a "paint-out" event held at the Garrison Art Center) which took place in the Spring of 2007. This painting shows the little gazebo that offers a view of the mighty Hudson River and West Point across on the other side. This was painted toward afternoon at sunset and records the glow of that hour. A figure is seen standing pondering the scene.
