Painted in the winter of 2007 in New York city in Central Park. The scene captures the Sheep Meadow Cafe with a bit of snow still left on the ground. The day is clear, the sun is shining, casting blue shadows which contrast with the warms of the trees. A quick notation is made of the people walking by on the sidewalk.
